Mother's Day Markets Brisbane May 2026 | The Market Folk

Mother's Day is just around the corner, and we've got three beautiful markets lined up across Brisbane to help you find something she'll actually love.

No mass-produced gift sets. No last-minute panic buys. Just handmade, heartfelt, one-of-a-kind pieces from local makers and creatives who pour everything into what they do.

Whether you're shopping for your mum, your partner, your nan, or yourself (we won't tell) — these markets are where you'll find a gift that actually means something.

Portside Wharf Mother's Day Market

Saturday 2nd May | 9am – 1pm
Portside Wharf, Hamilton

Kick off your Mother's Day weekend with a waterfront morning at Portside Wharf. River breezes, good coffee, and a curated lineup of local makers — it's the kind of morning that feels like a gift in itself.

Browse handmade jewellery, candles, skincare, fashion and more from some of Brisbane's best small businesses. If you're looking for a gift that feels personal rather than purchased, this is the place to start.

Stones Corner Festival

Sunday 3rd May | 12pm – 5pm
Stones Corner, Brisbane

One of Brisbane's best community events is back — and it's bigger than ever. The Stones Corner Festival is a creative market and free music festival rolled into one brilliant afternoon. Live Aussie music, incredible food, local brews, and our curated market precinct right in the heart of the action.

Food trucks the likes of Catch & Kiss Seafood, Mr Pulled, and Oh Waffles will line Logan Road, serving up everything from gourmet bites to festival classics, while local brewers and beverage favourites will keep the good times flowing. Brewers the likes of Asahi, Stone & Wood, and Billsons, as well as local nods with Slipstream, Black Hops, Burleigh Brewing, Redlands Coast Distillery and Stones Ginger Beer being available to quench that thirst all day long.

With over 35 stallholders, this is our biggest May lineup. Come for the music, stay for the shopping.
