The Market Folk is back on the Northside at Everton Plaza this Saturday! We were blown away by the Everton Park community at our Everton Plaza debut in December, so we can’t wait to be back at this stunning precinct. We love that our markets connect communities, and have never been prouder after witnessing the amazing efforts and support to rebuild this area after the recent floods. We’re excited to celebrate this incredible community at our cheerful family-friendly market, complete with live music and our popular Instagram photo wall.
With over 35 stalls on offer, we couldn’t be more excited about this Saturday’s line-up! Freshen up your home decorating with a range of art, ceramics, homewares, candles, pots and plants. Update your wardrobe with trans-seasonal fashion and accessory staples as we move into the cooler months, and treat your kids (or fur babies) with children’s toys and dog treats & accessories.
Stay social! Invite your friends on Facebook and follow the action on Instagram. Don’t forget to snap a pic with our Instagram photo wall and tag us #themarketfolk so we can share in the fun!
Put your money where your heart is and buy local!

Don’t miss the heart-warming sounds of Hello Jane this Saturday…
Hello Jane is a Queensland based emerging singer/songwriter that travels the country with her guitar and a unique blend of folk storytelling, pop melody, with a splash of country. As comfortable on large stages as in your great aunt’s living room, she is well known for her heart-wrenching sweet vocals and sophisticated songwriting finesse.
In 2021 she performed alongside Golden Guitar Winner, Melody Moko and award-winning songwriter Karl S. Williams, and Golden Guitar nominated songwriter, Camille Trail at sold out shows across her hometown, and will bring in 2022 with a brand new single, ‘Never Alone’. Co-written with her brother, award-winning performer Bradley McCaw, ‘Never Alone’ was written for their sister at the beginning of the pandemic who was alone, halfway across the world. The single was brought to life by Producer and Engineer Michael Moko (Catherine Britt, Melody Moko, Natalie Henry), and Mastered by Jeff McCormack (Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson).
Some notable accomplishments include her single ‘Something Else’ winning ‘The Songwriting Prize 2020’ for Tablelands Folk Festival, while also cracking into the ‘Top 30 songs of 2021’ for Emerge Radio Queensland. Hello Jane also placed as a finalist in the Listen Up Songwriting Prize 2020 for her debut single ‘Everything’s Alright’, and became a finalist for Brisbane City Council’s QUBE Effect program 2021.
